Scott Kelby

Image
Section 1: Brief Biography Scott Kelby was born on 1960 in Lakeland, Florida. Currently he is famous for being a Photoshop Insider basically meaning that he writes or designs training photography software, but all in all he is a photographer. His occupation includes being the president and CEO of KelbyOne; and the editor and the publisher of the Photoshop User Magazine. Kelby has a love for sports and traveling that he has taken many pictures, and probably edited them, to show his admiration for it. Kelby also like to take pictures of women in their wedding dress, this is probably because one of his greatest thrill was when he saw his wife walking down the isle to marry him. Section 2: Artwork Something to note about Kelby's artwork is that he takes a lot of horizontal shots. When it comes to his travel shot he uses leading lines that visually lead you into the distance, formal balance to show the symmetry of the area, ,and sharp focus making you see every detail of the area...

Diptych

Image
"Gaming Diptych" The interaction is that he is using the controller to play the video game and perform combos. All I did was put the two images I took in the studio together, found some video game buttons and health on the internet, put it on the image on the right, and use the filter "patchwork" on the image to the right to make it look like an old video game.                                                                      -Lyle Toledo 2017

Landscape Portrait      For both of the project I had to take multiple pictures of the subject. Then downloaded it so I could use in Photoshop. Once all the pictures were copied and pasted into one place I had to figure out where they should be as if it was a puzzle (A REALLY hard one at that). After that long process I saved it and that's how the pictures came to be. In all honesty, I found this project really hard to do and I probably could've put more effort in it.

Where I'd Rather Be

Image
This place is where I'd rather be because the stars in the sky always looked beautiful to me and it look like a nice place to get away from any problems. I started the process by cutting and pasting a picture of myself into this background. Then I made myself into a silhouette because I thought the picture would look ugly if you saw any part of me. Finally I copied my silhouette, made it transparent, and rotated it to make it look like a reflection to be consistent with the background. Original Pictures:
