"Gaming Diptych"
The interaction is that he is using the controller to play the video game and perform combos. All I did was put the two images I took in the studio together, found some video game buttons and health on the internet, put it on the image on the right, and use the filter "patchwork" on the image to the right to make it look like an old video game.                                                                      -Lyle Toledo 2017

    I absolutely love the realistic vs. virtual effect that is being conducted in this piece. The first part is the basic, staring at a screen playing a video game concept, however the second takes you inside the game, basically showing the part of what the model is focusing on, which we wouldn't necessarily see, and I find that be really unique. The background is well blended and the grainy video game filter really pulls this Diptych together.

Landscape Portrait      For both of the project I had to take multiple pictures of the subject. Then downloaded it so I could use in Photoshop. Once all the pictures were copied and pasted into one place I had to figure out where they should be as if it was a puzzle (A REALLY hard one at that). After that long process I saved it and that's how the pictures came to be. In all honesty, I found this project really hard to do and I probably could've put more effort in it.
